Linda Miller-Van de Perre and Fred Van de Perre have joined forces to manufacture and sell the most innovative and progressive dental hand instruments available. Fred was one of the founders of Oasis Dental Group in Vancouver, BC. He was quite involved in research of dental unit water lines. He invented the EZ Klean distillation alternative and worked extensively with in-line water filters. Linda was Quality Manager of American Dental Mfg, and then one of the founders, Quality Manager and National Sales Manager of American Eagle Instruments, Inc.; Their ultra-light, large diameter handle (the first ergonomic dental instrument handle) was born from some of her clinical experiences with Willamette Dental Group and Kaiser Permanente. Fred and Linda met at a dental meeting several years ago in Montreal, found themselves to have many of the same goals, ethics and drive, fell in love, got married, thus the beginning of Paradise Dental Technologies, Inc.(PDT, Inc.)

Our Cruise line of instruments is the first successful color-coded thermal resin handle. The anatomically color-coded PDT Cruise line is extremely tactile sensitive. This handle is a thermal resin handle with knurling down to the tip, therefore, allowing a much better grip for hygienists and dentists than other resin and stainless instruments available. Our knurling pattern is very unique and allows for terrific pull as well as rotational control. Thus, less strain on muscles, reduced hand cramping and reduced risk of carpal tunnel syndrome. Orthopedic surgeons and carpal tunnel specialist say the lighter and larger an instrument, the better it is to reduce the risk of carpal tunnel syndrome.
